House of Dagmar SS14

Launched  by three sisters in 2005, this Swedish label has really gone from strength to strength. They have won several prestigious awards and  the label’s unconventional and sophisticated style has been widely recognised by the fashion industry. It’s a style best described as relaxed luxury with attitude. The garments are ultra modern and effortlessly combine high quality materials with sensual design. Dagmar has succeeded in making both well-tailored everyday wear for working women, high-quality knitwear for everyone, and attracting the fashionable more daring customers with exciting cuts, prints and textures.

The SS14 collection is no exception. The collection is described as “a study of the changing moods between day-time and night-time in Stockholm” and the inspiration comes from artist Rebecka Bebben Andersson’s art work “Nolli Stockholm”, that graphically maps out the safer and rougher areas of Stockholm.

Reflecting a city under the changing light of the day, there are lighter, brighter graphic prints and a darker watercolour style print in blue, burgundy, orange and red that looks like the lights of a city, blurred by rain. The collection is already selling out in some pieces so get in quickly!
