New brand Vadum joins Feather & Stitch

We have some exciting news on this beautiful sunny Monday … Vadum are the latest brand to join Feather & Stitch both in store and online for the AW13 season.

Vadum are a successful and stylish Danish brand who exceed in blending richness and roughness, creating an effortless feminine look topped off with an urban touch.

Vadum combines clean-cut silhouettes and comfortable casual fabrics and draws influences from modern art, music and street life to create its quirky details and strong graphic prints.

We love this brand at Feather & Stitch as the clothes are aimed at women who want an easy, wearable, relaxed look that doesn’t forsake femininity and elegance.

“Vadum is based on 2 main stories – A white label for the casual roughness and a black label for the exclusive richness.”

All these looks can be dressed up with accessories and heels and worn on a day-to-day basis or to a fancy event. Vadum is such a versatile and stylish brand, a real must have for AW13.

Available in store and online soon!

Jamie’s Italian Trattoria Opens on King Street

Jamie’s Italian Trattoria opened today two doors down from Feather & Stitch on King Street – the perfect excuse to catch up with a girlfriend over shopping and lunch! On our way into the shop this morning we walked past a tasty looking display of pastries, muffins and coffees – hmmm these could be a bit hard to resist of a morning. For lunch there are “moreish bowls of pasta, mouth watering grills and colourful salads” and we’re told it’s also fine if you just want to pop in for some antipasti and a cold glass of prosecco – that’s our after work drinks sorted then! We took a couple of piccies for you. It has a lovely rustic feel with lots of different spaces, some intimate tables for two and some long tables for big groups. We’re told by the lovely host Lucinda that the great artwork on the walls is by Jamie’s mate. King Street is now even more of a go to destination!
